They sit near your Investigator card and track how many actions you've taken so far by flipping them over. On the front we see a class logo and the back is a spent side, with hands of a clock and gears from a pocket watch. The idea is to have three facing up and as you take an action you flip one over. Each Investigator uses a set of their trackers from their class.
